My 6yo daughter and I have been watching the old 1966-1968 Batman TV shows. She is addicted to it, and I'm having a lot of fun catching little jokes I never got when I watched it in afternoon reruns as a child. At the end of the first season, we watched the 1966 Batman movie. At the beginning of the film, millionaire Bruce Wayne and his faithful ward Dick Grayson drive up to Wayne Manor in this most excellent sled ...

What is this car? I was born in '67 have no trouble identifying most cars from the 60's, but I don't know this one.

I checked google images and looks like you guys are right. I can tell you nobody at my high school was driving one of these in 1985.

You'd think Bruce Wayne could've afforded something better. I guess he had it all sunk into modding that Lincoln Futura.

Good catch. Not that many know about the Futura and the Batmobile connection.
