My digital camera isn't any good for closeup pics. Any suggestions on what I need to look for in a digital camera that would be good for closeup pics?

The camera would only be used to post pics on forums such as Glock Talk so cost would be a factor. Thanks

How much money do you want to spend? There is a ton of cameras on the market now that will do good closeups.

Go here, select Manual Focus=YES, Less than $300, Only Current=YES, and you will get specifications for 10 macro-capable cameras, with most of them using AA NiMH batteries (I prefer that, cheap and last for ever).

BTW, while you may well shoot a vast majority of pictures with automatic focus, once in a while you will need manual focus for tricky objects. I would not give that up, so that's why I asked you to select it in the previous paragraph.
