    Who else plays?

Online under multiplayer, I use the following names in case you see me:

    Farfrumnuben
    That Bastard Who Aims
The Kamikaze Assault Squirrel (yeah, that's to freak people out)

I really enjoy the game, but haven't spent too much time in the online version; I AM looking forward to the expansion game they announced last month. If nothing else, online shows you that you can't afford to lay there and try to snipe, because everyone and their brother zeroes in on you at your first shot. :)

Actually depending on the map you can get off up to fifteen rounds in one position if you don't fire them all at once. :) Multiplayer on team deathmatch is a lot of fun.

If I'm hiding behind a dead cow or wall or something I generally get off one clip (Garand) five or so rounds from a bolt gun or one full mag from a BAR before moving. Sometimes less.

I love this game! It's so real... I don't know nothing about online version, but I'm sure MrMurphy that you are one of the best!

Playing against real people is a lot of fun especially since half of them are SMG-blasting guys with no brains who think a Tommy Gun on full auto at a dead run will win against a prone rifleman with a Mauser or M1 at 100 yards or so. :)

I usually come in about the top three in a 20 man map, the larger ones, top five to ten (some of them fifty man maps have some real good guys). Highest score ever achieved was 89 kills vs 53 deaths, the only guy coming even close was at 71 kills 82 deaths, everyone else was MUCH worse. I was just having a reeeeeally good day.

The first game that day I got fifteen guys without being hit (someone finally got lucky with a grenade) from three different positions.

I still like playing it, no doubt! Single player and online.

My name online is Tango Uniform. I ain't real good, but get some kills and have fun.

Also, there's a mod I recently dl'd and it's definitely worth the time to try it out. It's called "Revolt". Any of y'all know about it?

Check out http://www.fileplanet.com/ and the "Browse" section on the left hand side of the home page.
This site has all kinds of mods, patches and demos for PC games. You have to register to dl stuff, but it's free.

Online play will let you know just how bad you suck!!! Real quick!! I wasn't any good at it, but loved the game.

I also played Tac-Ops, and BF 1942. Any of ya'll play those games?

I've played single player, but haven't ventured to Multi yet. I'm too busy playing Joint Ops at the moment.

Call of Duty is a lot of fun. I prefer my FPS games to be simple balls out shooters like that.

Just played the new expansion pack demo, United Offensive. It's set during the battle of the bulge, is a little short even for a demo but a lot of fun! You can d/l it at www.fileplanet.com

It's coming out for Xbox. PS2 won't support the graphics I think.

    And United Offensive is SWEET!

Belt feds that you can move around (as an individual machinegunner) though you have to prone out and use the bipod to fire.

Gewehr 43, flamethrower, SVT40, DP28 machinegun, the Brits get the Webley and the Russians now get the Tokarev (instead of 1911 and Luger in the original COD).

Smoke grenades. That changes things a lot! And you can drive/shoot tanks and jeeps in single and multiplayer. Bazookas and satchel charges for killing tanks and MGs abound in multiplayer (satchel charges and flamethrowers make nice house clearing tools).

I'm about a thrid of the way through the expansion pack now, and the "chateau" level is TOUGH; trying to reload the Panzerschreck to take out the tanks while you've got German infantry pouring in through the walls had me saving every 3 or 4 seconds :)

Is "United Offensive" a part of "Call to Duty" for the XBOX? Or is it a seperate XBOX game?
