My wife's friend texted us a while ago that there was an earthquake in Bacolod. It happened very early morning at around 2:30am. They all had to get out of the house and stayed outside for at least an hour before returning.
We advised them to remove the vehicles from the garage and park the them on the street. I noticed this practice of emergency personnel in LA when there was an earthquake there in 1990. All their vehicles were removed from their garages and parked on the street.
