When they finally build The Wall, I propose in addition to running East/West along the national border, it take a turn North right along Arizona's western side and follow onwards along Nevada's, keeping Idaho, to the Canadian border as well.

It just seems like CA is getting nuttier to the point that it can infect the rest of the country. Has already spread to urban Oregon and Washington state.

Kalifornia always threatens to leave the union. Can we (outsiders)vote on it ? Hell they let illegals and prison inmates vote in Kalifornia.

Did not read the article but did there decision have anything to do with the earthquake threat out that way? Or was it some other crazy reason?

The article focused on setting the pathway to “green” and non carbon based energy.

That's why I'm not thrilled about gas in the house. If I could I would cap it at the street and go all electric. It has always been the case, especially with post 60s places, that the big risk in earthquakes are the risk of fire from ruptured gas mains. Every single house inspection report lists having a dedicated wrench at the main due to the immediacy of risk in an earthquake. I have 3-4 wrenches in the house that will take care of it but they really want it done within seconds of a quake.

Then they should just ban earthquakes.
