I have a G19. I have an offer, for someone to sell me a .40 barrel, to put on it. Wouldn't I need a .40 recoil spring and magazine? I know that a .40 Glock can be converted to a 9mm, but can I go the other way. Can I do this? Convert a G19 to a .40?

Nope, the barrel won't fit in the slide.

Well, I have a G19 also. I don't like the .40. But, I have a .40 Hi-Power and I was intrigued by the possibility of converting my G19 to shoot .40, also. I'm glad I asked. If the barrel won't fit, then I would have been wasting my money! If it had fit, then I may have would up with two pistols that I don't like! :steamed: Thanks fellas. :wavey:
