So I went on a drive today to get out of the house, since I've been snowed in for a few days. Well, I ended up getting a gun. I've been in the market for .22 auto pistols, because I have been teaching alot of new shooters. I have a .22 rifle, but no pistol. I found one at a pawn shot that I really liked. It pointed naturally, and the trigger can be described as... amazing. Like shooting a very nice single-action revolver. It is a Star Model FR sport pistol. I have never seen one before in my entire life, but it felt so good I had t have it. Can anyone give me any more info on it? There doesn't seem to be alot on the net. I paid $200 for it. It does not look like its been shot very much. Did I get ripped off?

Cool! I don't know anything about your gun. That looks just like a 1911 hammer. And trigger. And safety.

I know nothing about the pistol, but a quick internet search shows them selling for $300-$695 depending upon condition.

I think for $200 you did fine.

Cool looking little gun. You'll have to let us know how it shoots.

I see you are selling it. What happened?
