    I already said it; http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1434514

Now a California Assemblyman with his take on it:

    http://www.flashreport.org/blog/2012/08/10/is-there-a-government-anti-gun-conspiracy/

Add now the sikh shooting by....you'd never guess it.....; a "white supremacist"

I stand by my assertion that these are 100% government aided and abetted. Remember guys, this is the government that brought you fast & furious which ended in the murder of two of their own Border Patrol agents.

You think they care about Joe & Jane Nobody in the movie theater if they're willing to let their own agents go down as collateral damage?

John Ross laid it out pretty well in Unintended Consequences how these shootings 100% follow a pattern; almost always in an election year, and almost always before major anti-gun legislation.

I'm not really convinced that these terrible events are anything more than a horrible coincidence. For example, has anything truly changed after Virginia Tech? You can still order guns online. How about Fort Hood? Hi capacity mags are still readily available. Heck, even after Columbine people still conduct FTF deals at gun shows in many states.

Now I'm not saying that nothing has changed but in many cases there has been an outcry for more gun control but I've not seen it so far.

Well DJ - it's obvious you didn't get the memo. There are no conspiracies - whatever the government tells you will be the truth. Our resident Sky Pilot made that very clear! :wavey:

His basis is that the shooter received student grants, the psychiatrist used to work at the pentagon and a man killed someone in a church a month earlier but was then shot by a ccw holder.

    Really?

    Many student's get grants.

Many towns/cities/counties have multiple shootings a year.

Even if there was the slightest amount of reynolds wrap truth to this, his though is that the government not only tried to do this once, but after a failed attempt they tried for it again in the same town?

I'm not guessing one way or the other. But I will say it would be easy for the government to do anything they want because anyone that picks up on a conspiracy is labeled a cook. As we'll soon see in this thread.

    Any evidence of govt involvement?

Any at all......anything.......just a little something........I mean even something little that the govt is involved........no?.........well I am sure some will surface soon.......I mean Bush had 9-11 so Obama better get his evil action in on killing innocent Americans to push his policies........

Talk about jumping to conclusions......this guy in California is leaping like he is in London at the Olympics..........

Will they try and capitalize on these event to push their desired policies? Without a doubt. Does that mean they had any involvement, no.

Somehow I prefer a little evidence before I believe this kind of thing.

    hopefully, on your ignore list
I'm probably more anti big government than most here. And I don't doubt that Fast and Furious was intended to drum up media attention to push gun control, but I don't believe the recent shootings are anything more than they appear to be.

If feral.gov wanted to push an anti gun agenda, they wouldn't have used a Nazi in the Sikh Temple shootings. They would use a run of the mill NRA member, ex military with a distinguished record with no questionable background, and no history. That would give them shock factor that any can snap at any time. Nobody is surprised when a Nazi pulls this kind of murder, so feral.gov wouldn't get the propaganda value they would want.

Plus, like the 911 attacks, it would require too many people to be involved, and even the US Feral Government isn't completely corrupt; yet. Someone would talk.

It's hard for even me to accept that Feral.gov bureaucrats would cause or allow those types of massacres to push an agenda. At least the Mexican cartels were using BATFE provided firearms to mostly kill each other.

Plus, they just got busted on Fast and Furious. They would probably be too gun shy, and would be concerned that if it was found out, Obama would most definitely lose in November. Plus, if he is reelected, they get to push their agenda anyway.

Now, if the Justice Dept starts floating child porn accusations against the CA Assemblyman, like Bush\Ashcroft did Scott Ritter, I'll reconsider my viewpoint.

Yeah, that didn't dawn on me until you said that. I still can't think of a better way to spell the word I was trying to say. Let's just say crazy.

If you knew What his father did, and what he was about to testify to......You'd be more likely to consider it. This operation wasn't about this kid, or gun control. It was about his father.

Apparently, according to the internet, Robert Holmes, James Holmes’ father, was to testify before a senate panel on the Libor scandal.

However there is no evidence that this is true.

I would like to see an unedited record of these people's online activity. I think it would be really easy for people to find and encourage people who are already on the edge. Between Fast and Furious and the recent shootings it does make me wonder. A few years ago I would have assumed that if it were happening it was fanatical progressive or just anti gun individuals. Recently it seems that coincidence is being stretched a little too far.
