It's alright. Say you visited your friends/relatives in the US and decided to bring it home with you. It was all neatly packed in your luggage, then the airport personnel noticed it in the X-rays. At this point make sure you have a perfect alibi for bringing home a gun part.

Save yourself the agony and buy it at your local gunstore. Savings vs. Jailtime? You decide.

LOCAL flights MIGHT allow it. But the risks are just too great.

for local flights, long as you have your gun license with you and a receipt from the gunstore, I think there wouldn't be a problem, unless there's one a**hole airport security or PNP personnel that would take interest in it.

Thank you for the advice. It is on local flights. Are there specific regulations I can read up on? Can't rely on just word of mouth since its very hard getting caught up at the airport and missing your flight.

If you got a good enough price to make it worth it, just box them up and mail them to yourself.

+1. There are no clean cut rules and regulations regarding the transport of magazines. And with all the security precautions at the airports just mail it to avoid the hassle.

My friend from Cotabato City asked me to buy a mag for his para. I asked the airport police and they said na bawal. Wala nga kasi clean cut rules, so they rely more on their discretion. This scenario will create katakut takot na linawan at padulas pa na talagang pwedeng mangyari.

Solution: Pinadala ko sa kaibigan (bodyguard) niyang military yung magazine.
