Does anyone know how one would get started in doing something like this? Here's a little background. My family owns several stores around town and we were thinking about starting to buy gold as another stream of income for the stores. A friend of my dads said he is making a killing doing it right now. My questions to the GlockTalk brain trust is, does anyone have any experience in this sort of thing? I know you basically need a scale and a gold tester to test the karats and what have you, but where do you unload the gold once you buy it? Are there any licenses needed ? Anything else I should be aware of?

    Thanks,
    JasonT

No license needed in Texas. We sell to Kitco.com. Real easy to do and only things needed are 10k 14k 18k and 24k acids to test, stone to test on, magnet to help in testing, jewelers loop, and money.
