Or if you have the money and don't want to keep forking out money for cardboard targets. Go to your local metal workers and buy a sheet of 3/8" plate and have D-1's cut out. Have an 8" circle cut out where the A & B rings would be. Have a picture frame box welded on the back side where you can slide a chunck of cardboard in. Hope you get the picture.

I managed to get one official D-1 from a guy at my range. I trace the outline on (large) pieces of cardboard boxes and cut them out with boxcutters. So basically they're free.

I took a .750 piece of plywood the same shape as the target. Then put 1.00" screws thtough it where the X and 10 rings are. Next I lay my homemade card board target on the sharp tip of screws protruding push target down from back, this neetly marks the rings.

A couple of the sites listed, also sell the D-1's as paper targets. Cheaper than using cardboard.

    HI,
Thanks for all the sites, I checked them for D-1's in paper and center replacements. The cheapest was pistoleer.com at $34.0 for a 100 lot of paper and $5.18 for centers, the others were $40.00 and above for the paper.

    Thanks again Guys
    Mike

..well,..I just use what I can get my hands on, ussually cardboard boxes, that I have cut to about the size 6"x6" to make the "5 to G" and "Glock'm" stages.

..for the plates..if I can't get to a rack and shoot the steel..I'll staple 6 paper plates onto a board and lay it on a berm.
