I've discovered a dessert wine that I absolutely love and am wondering if anyone has found a good (cheap) online source for wine. The wine in question is Robert Mondavi Moscato d'Oro 2004. I can buy it locally for $15.99 per half bottle and if possible would like to find a relatively inexpensive source for getting a case. I've done some searching via Google but the sites I've looked at charge an arm and a leg for shipping.

Also interested if anyone that has tried this particular wine and can recommend any others with similar taste and qualities.

The wine is from the muscat grape, I think.
Many wineries make it, but since it is a sweet dessert wine, it is not a big seller at most retail stores. It is frequently sold at wineries, but made in small quantities. It is sold in half bottles because it is usually consumed in small quantities.

You can ask a large wine shop if they can order some in for you.

Similar wines are the "late harvest" type and the German wines which are sweet. Again ask the retailer.
Navarro Vineyards make a lot of nice wine of the type you like and they ship to NM.

Note: Shipping costs always are pricey.

My dad orders cases on line all the time, and has a good deal set up, but I don't recall with whom. I just emailed him to ask, so later on I'll let you know what I find....

here's what my pops had to say on the matter:

I get wine from Winemessinger.com and shipping is (or was last time) 9.75 for
    a case, 9.75 for a half case, 9.75 for 3 bottles or 9.75 a single bottle.
It is still the best deal I have found for internet wine. They don't
deliver everywhere, however, so you need to check the little pull-down
screen to see if they deliver in your state. In my case, not only are they
willing to deliver to NJ, but will drop it on my porch without a signature.
I have been a mail-drop (wine-drop) for a couple of people that have
bought through winemessinger because the UPS guy would not leave the wine
at their home without an adult signature.
