Thanks! I found a place online selling them for a low price but have never heard of this company:

    http://www.slimstacticalguns.com/Ma...-30Rd-Black-AR-Rifles-MAG211-BLK_p_25785.html

Just under $14 a mag with shipping to my door.

Anyone have any experience ordering from this site?

I actually saw them new (Pmags) in the 10-15 $ price range at the last gun show I went to. I was really surprised. Non windowed Pmags of course, I bought a few!

i did a search first before i posted this reply, and couldnt find an answer. i ordered a DD rail and for fun a couple of PMAGs with it since i was spending money. problem is they came with a blocking mechanism in them that only allows them to hold 10. they are 30rd mags with the window. i cant seem to find a place that has a replacement piece for them. besides just cutting the plastic obviously. can anyone help me out?

The ten round limiter is just the magazine follower. Magpul makes replacement followers for USGI magazines, I wonder if those will work. I would assume its the exact same as the use in the PMAGS.

Maybe not. Check Magpuls website. You can find the replacement followers I mentioned on BCMs website and others.

i dont think that will work. the USGI baseplate and the magpul baseplate are different. the magpul has a slot for the follower to lock into. i removed the blocking device and the baseplate wont stay in... any bump and it pops off

Not as much competition in the Glock magazine market.

Glock mags also are made by the OEM, who sets pricing, and have metal liners that complicate production slightly. I would imagine that the PMAG is exceptionally easy to make, too.

You are all bad influences :)

Free S&H for orders over $125 at Brownells ; Code is DQX

They also have their own brand of AR mags for 10 for $99. Both the 30 rounders or the 20 rounders. You can also mix and match 10 for $99.

    I picked up 5 x 30 rds, 5 x 20 rds (Brownells make) and 2 x 30 round OD Green P-Mags so the total was over $125 for the free S&H.

So 12 mags with S&H for $128 or $10.66 per mag.

That puts me at 35 AR mags total for 3 ARs..that should hold me I think. :)

I shot an IDPA event Sat. There were 6 stations and each required a mag reload. I had one mag set up as a dummy to top off the first mag at each station to the max of 11 rounds. That's 13 Glock mags if you want to pre load and focus on shooting the event - better have an extra or two just in case. So 15 mags for a club level competition one gun event is a comfortable setup. That's a hard, real world reason for 15 mags per gun. It took me a while to get there but I did and I shoot better because of it.

I have three rifles that take M16 mags: Colt SP1, Daewoo MAXII and BushHamster Carbon15. I think that I have over twenty aluminum mags, probably closer to thirty aluminum mags with the bulk of it being 30-rounders and a smattering of 20-rounders in there somewhere. I also have 20-ea of the 30-rounder Pmags and 10-ea of the 20-rounder Pmags. I hope that's enough.

Guys we don't have a problem over here. Head over to ar15.com to see guys with an addiction, there are guys that have over 1000 mags for their AR-15s. I really need to stock up on my pistol mags though, but the darn S&W M&P mags are expensive. $34/each hurts if you want to buy 10 of them. I need to stop buying new pistols because it costs a small fortune to buy the mags for them afterwards.
