I don't know about you, but if I were in the market for a new truck. And one dealership was giving away free AK-47's and the other dealership wasn't. I'm buying from the dealership giving away free AK's. :2gun: Also read the comments. Some people are just idiots.

For a U.S. Veteran's Day promotion, they give away a Russian gun? Why? So they can remind everyone we lost the Vietnam War? Why not give away an American gun? $400 will get you a Smith, Ruger, Kel-Tec, Charter, NAA, or similar pistol. Giving an AK as an American holiday promotion doesn't make sense to me.

Better off buying a bicycle and having money left over for an AK, AR, FAL, FN 5.7, HK, and more...

Believe it or not, there were several GI's that carried an AK during Vietnam. I know several personally. There's nothing like killing the enemy with his own weapon, and at the time it was more reliable than the -16.

I feel this promotion is somewhat silly. It states that if you do not wish to have the rifle, you can elect to get $400 off the purchase price.
WOW!! $400 off a new truck!!??!! Where do I sign?!

If this was a straight ad promotion, who would be sucked in by $400 off the price of a truck?
    How about more like $4,000?!

Because 18-20 year olds can buy a car but not a pistol?

Oh, I totally believe it. At the time the AK was a far superior weapon to the fledgling AR/M16 platform, especially for the deep jungle fighting that went on there. I don't blame them one bit. Doesn't stop the AK from being the most recognized symbol of the Russian military on the face of the planet. Hence, it doesn't make sense to me to celebrate an American holiday using a Russian gun.

The country is led by a communist now. Perhaps the dealer is extremely flexible in his patriotism.

Get your heads out of your asses... a gun is a gun.... If it sweetens the deal on something you are fixxing to buy, then where are your nuts? Or better yet, where are the reviews? Anyone do this yet?

    From a licensed dealer?

If the car place gives people a certificate they can't legally redeem, what good is the certificate? I understand how you can obtain a gun, before you are allowed to buy it, I just don't see the car dealer trying to actively break the law.
