was $700.00, without taxes.

It was polymer with one 30rd mag and a Bushnell red dot. Flat top of course.

Not exactly sure of the model, but it was very light, I guess due to the polymer/composite.

Anyone have personal experience with this AR?

Check out Palmetto State Armory for options. Here an example.

That's a complete rifle for $600.
The bundle at Palmetto with an Aimpoint PRO and MBUS rear sight is a screaming deal, too. Same rifle that you get with the two links in the quotesd post, but with a $400+ optic and folding rear backup sight for an extra $400.

ETA: Either way, I would go with a BCM or Palmetto LOOOONG before a Carbon 15, especially at the asking price of the Bushmaster. $700 for that hunk of junk is about $350 too high.

Yup, that would definitely be the way to go, for those who want and can afford such a complete package.

Palmetto SA is less than 2 hrs from here. Would be supporting the local economy!!!

I will have to stop by one weekend. Thanks.
Yeah, I noticed your location right after I posted here. Would definitely be worth a day trip to their location to pay them a visit.
