I got a Bushmaster carbine somewhere around 2000, post ban configuration.

Are there any aftermarket flash suppressors out there that I can attach that don't require getting the barrel threaded to accommodate it? If so, are they as durable/reliable as the threaded type?

It's the only AR I own and I haven't spent a lot of time with it despite having had it for ten years. I can break it down pretty easily and understand how it functions, but I'm still quite the novice when it comes to AR's especially in terms of add on parts. Thanks in advance for the help.

Get the barrel threaded and take your pick of any flash suppressor on the market. Send it to Adco Firearms. They'll make sure it's done right.
