The George H.W. Bush Foundation has helped donate two million masks to China despite American healthcare workers approaching dire shortages of the vital equipment, and the American public now being advised to wear masks.
In partnership with the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, and the U.S.-China Business Council, the foundation “sourced” the sizable donation. American companies Chubb and Walmart also contributed, and FedEx comped shipping fees.

If that's correct and it would appear to be, Bush should be ashamed of himself.

I had a very good attitude about Bush II when he was in office but all I've heard/read since he left office has exposed his leftist leanings and globalist attitudes. Yucking it up with Obama sickens me. Don

When were they sent? Was it before the USA acknowledged we had a problem?

Since it says despite US healthcare workers reaching dire shortages I'd guess they are talking currently. So why is the Bush "foundation" sending China equipment needed by the US healthcare workers?

GHW Bush died in 2018. It would be the trustees or board members who did this.

Wouldn't it have been nice to stop this virus before it spread outside of China?

Thanks for correcting me, I assumed apparently incorrectly that Bush II was involved. Don

Yes it would have, but I don’t think that was part of the plan!

You still trust headlines? I seldom trust the story below. Never trust headlines.

Ok I do get caught myself. I see headline, react. :(
This is not the first, won’t be the last half truth headline, story. Beyond small town paper stories. I honestly know of no major news outlet I would trust stories from. For 30 yrs I have known the reporters no longer tell the info. But present it as how you are to respond. Facts don’t matter. The few times it’s proven to be made up. Nothing happens.

Good advice. Headline writers are click-addicts. Anything to get that click, truth be damned.

Trump donates his entire salary to charitable causes, including armed forces charities and now Wuhan virus relief centers. Headline:

"Trump Acknowledges His Work Is Not Worth A Penny"

This is not surprising. Establishment Republicans are just as accommodating to our enemies if not just as downright anti-American as Liberal Democrats. They scorn the very notion of "America F8irst" That's why they hate Trump so much. Not just because Trump believes in America First but because Trump ruined their chances of getting either Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton in the white house.

Jeb Bush was the designated loser this time around just as Mitt Romney and John McCain were the last two times. this has stood in the way of their combined agenda of defacto one-party rule.

George W Bush gave Democrats almost everything they wanted when he was in office and increased spending and expanded the federal government and Bush and the GOP establishment helped ensure the election of Barack Obama.

Despite some who genuflect at the altar of ALL THINGS GOP, we have Neoliberal pieces of in the GOP. Unlike the Democrats - whose entire leadership are Globalist/Neoliberal/Neoconservatives - perhaps 25 percent of the GOP might be.

Call them out as you uncover them.

    For information only:

Look up "Rockefeller Republicans" in Wikipedia.

Republicans were traditionally a politically diverse bunch of rich guys.
