It's a great day when both Busch brothers have smacked
the wall 1/4 of the way into a race!
I can't argue with that logic.
The only way it could have been better is if they got fined for scratching the wall.
Yeah, well you could have heard me whooping it up from here when Cheatin' Jimmie Johnson wrecked. I usually am pulling for anyone but Kyle and Cheatin' Jimmie. Got to hand it to Kyle though, that boy can wheel a race car.
I've gotten to where I dislike Brad Keselowski more than the Busch boys, and that's a lot.
Hats off to Imadinger. He could have raced dirty like Dale Earnhardt Sr and won today, but he chose not to.
I didn't even know there was a NASCAR show on today. Real racing was going on in Alabama at Barber. They turn left and right.
Them two boys would be a lot faster if they had ear reduction surgery.
I dislike Keslowski more than the Busch brothers. Kyle has been better since he lost his primary sponser at the end of last season. Plus my 8yr old likes him, more because of the M&M car than anything. I met Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle in Vegas this year, both great guys, off the track anyway.
I'm sick of hearing about Kyle Busch. "The new Kyle?" The new Kyle acts an awful lot like the old Kyle. He never changed, and probably won't until he grows up. His brother is obviously an A-hole too.
I wasn't a real fan of Brad either, until I started following him on twitter. Maybe he's real good at saying the right thing, but twitter is where they usually say the wrong thing.
And Jimmy Johnson is far from the only driver to get penalties for "cheating." IIRC both Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch got caught for that a couple years back. I just don't understand how Jimmy's car can fail a visual inspection, after it had already passed inspection, and they never bothered to actually measure the darn thing?
Last year they had Danica ...... and she was about the worst racer in IRL history......... I forgot to watch today.... Which Mexican/Spaniard won anyway .........
Not saying he is the new Kyle, just been quieter. As far as Kurt, I thought he had been much better. The end of last season proved that wrong.
I wish they would allow the fans to "vote them off", like those stupid reality shows do. I would like to see some good, hard-nosed racing without the Bushes, also.
And, I'd really like it if they actually raced stock cars. Not a fabricated racer that vaguely resembles a production automobile.
To put a Ford, Chevy, Dodge, or Toyota badge on front of a sheetmetal-covered roll cage just doesn't make it a stock car. (Yes, I was a fan in the 50's, 60's, and 70's)
I would like to see qualifying in reverse order of the finish the week before. Then a 15 minute break and get them out on the track racing.
The Gordo-Johnson wreck was a double bonus. I was hoping for a different type of wreck for them so that Jr. could pull the R. Petty.
I was at that race, and say that Martinsville has to be one of my top professional sports venues. Great views from so many different spots, accessible drivers, low key security that's not obnoxious, and a very casual atmosphere.
I've been to Daytona nine times in the last 16 years,.....
would LOVE to get to Martinsville!
And just to set the record straight. Kyle is a VERY naturally
talented driver, the guy is amazing. He's just a dik & Kurt is a grade A azzhole!
I love the reports on how nimrod-Newman "took advantage" of a wreck to win the race. Yeah, a wreck he caused!!! Taking out the two dominant cars at the end of the race. Newman is not a has been.......he's a never was!
