I've got a canoe that looks a lot like the one used in "Deliverance". Wonder if I can get some bucks for that??
I bought a T/A new in 1978 for $7000. It stickered about $8000 IIRC. Honey comb wheels, hatch tops, white with black velour, T/A 6.6 engine, 4-speed. 220 hp. Not very reliable. Looked good though.

If it has Burt’s signature on it and he owned it (like the TA), probably a bit more than yours
An old BMX bike of mine was in Cape Fear (1991). To think I let it go at a garage sale for probably five dollars.
I found the trailer.
Depends... You got the purty mouth to go with it?
Can you squeal like a piggy? C'mon, squeal.
You need to spray some Flex Seal on that. Good as new.
A whole 220 HP! Engines from that time period sure did suck!
I remember the line:
“I’m gonna need a car. Something with some real heat under the hood.” LOL
I know they say money can't buy happiness, and I believe it too.
That being said, it must be nice to able to spend $200k on a car because of provenance.
IIRC didn't the on screen Trans Ams have the 455 CID engine?
$200k. That's cute. How about a F40 LM worth $6M? Or a GTO, sold for over $48M.
Don't know about that, would be interesting to know. The real Bandit cars were 1976 models that Pontiac put 1977 front ends on (filming was before 1977's were released).
That's a beautiful car. I was a huge fan of the 77-78 Trans Am when I was a kid, and I still have a place in my heart for them.
Are the kids selling dad's stuff off already?
What stuff? Loni took it all!
Did ya bust the rock?
