Is bullet compression real?
I carry a full mag in my glock 17, but like to keep one in the chamber. Everytime i get home I eject the bullet and keep my gun unloaded. I have heard that if you rack the same bullet eventually it will become compressed which can have many bad effects. Anyway to prevent bullet compression? Can i just rack my gun and hold onto the slide and let it go into the feed ramp very slowly, or will that not help with the problem of bullet compression?
