This shows what a love for speed -- and great amounts of money can do...
Please cite your source. I'd like to get a copy of that article.
This was the article I read a few months back. It has a few pictures.
Don Kirlin is a great guy. I met him in 1998 at the world freefall convention in quincy. I have some great video of one of his Migs flying at night. The 40ft blue flame on take off is a awe inspiring sight...........
Many years ago there was a article, in Flying magazine I believe, about a man that bought a couple Migs from the Chinese.
When the ship docked with his planes and he checked them out he about had a heart attack. The planes still had the guns and even the magazines were full of ammo.
He had never thought about the Chinese leaving the guns on the planes and the Chinese thought what good is a Mig with out guns.;f
He called the Feds right away and worked it out. I'm sure the Feds got some nice Chi Com guns for nothing.
One would just have to find the right place to get rid of all that ammo...
Guns?? What guns??
