Building the "ultimate" Glock

I will soon have a G17 3rd gen frame, and I'm looking to build this out into the "ultimate" (and accurate) pistol, cost be damned. That stated, I'd love to read feedback on what I am planning on doing. Suggestions on improving this is welcomed (I know a lot comes down to personal preference):

1. G17 3rd generation frame
2. Caspian 34 slide
3. Bar Sto Match Target barrel
4. Glockworx Fulcrum drop in kit, competition spring set, stainless steel skeletonized striker, titanium safety plunger, and bronze recoil rod
5. Insight M6X tactical light/laser
6. Trijicon Novak sights green/yellow

Why not just buy a Sig if you want the "ultimate" pistol ? :whistling:

This kit resulted in a full-auto (2 shots every squeeze) when installed in my friend's G35...
Why don't you build an Open race gun out it that way you can shoot it along side other "ultimate" guns. It will be just as accurate but will be easier to shoot faster and more accurate.

Get a 17 or 34 slide
KKM threaded Match barrel
Compensator
Vanek or Glockworx trigger
Either do a Doctor style dot sight mounted on the slide or a C-More style sight mounted on the frame (more reliable but dot is higher)
Stipple the grip or do the Aluminum Oxide
Get a big magwell and some mag extensions. I believe you can get +8s and still be USPSA legal so you will have 25 round mags

If you want a flashlight get the Surefire X300. Shooting a dot sight with a flashlight would be very effective at night.

This is what I would do if money wasn't an object

sounds like this would be a good setup for competition and getting fast double taps. Oh wait, its illegal to use burst or full auto in competition, damn
Will this build be for competition shooting or just home protection/carry? If its for home protection/carry, why even bother with a laser on it?

Thats not "full auto"... Sounds like the shooter was double tapping due to lack of trigger control.
Since you're going to be replacing everything but the frame anyway, why even bother buying a Glock at all, and just start with a CCR Raceframe?
Dawson precision adjustable sights
Charlie Vanek Trigger....A MUST
KKM compensated barrel
13 pound wolf recoil spring with tungsten guide rod (if u are using kkm comp barrel)
many of the above are all kits that could meet your definition. If you go with a doctor instead of irons, just get it melt-mounted...

like you said - personal preference is the big thing here - what you really need to do to make it 'your' best gun is to try each of the options and find out which of them (and in what combinations) work best for you. THAT is really going on the heavy side of 'cost no object', but is really the only way to tell for sure. ALL those parts will have a decent resale, and you'll end with a lot of knowledge and the perfect gun for you.

Otherwise, it's just trying to pay for accuracy and speed - not the optimal idea.
The 'ultimate' Glock is the one you buy stock. Can't improve on perfection, but you can sure mess it up, if you like.

Yep they shouldnt even make accesories for them. They are absolutely perfect out of the box. Ok.

Some people require more from the gun than a stock glock is going to give them. I dont think any other gun in the world has a following of blind supporters that will chant thier Kool-Aid slogan all day long and not get tired of it. Way to go gaston.
Sounds like this is a little more in line with your needs, OP:

For starters, your going to have more ANTI-Aftermarket parts beople bash this thread than you will get good answers that you are looking for.

Im all for your project.

The one thing that I will add is this. I was going to get all the light parts like the skeleton striker and other mis stuff and I was told that doing these mods have consistantly made the glock fire out of battery.

Hope I said that right............I will try to find the post.

I have four Glocks set up with Glockworx Fulcrum triggers and have Never had one fire more than once without the trigger being pulled more than once. Someone probably over polished or pulled the trigger twice.
I'd rather have a Vanek trigger than any other brand.

Arc and I agree once again!
