It wouldn't surprise me if he did. He's one of the biggest a-holes in all of baseball.

    Great player, immature d-bag.

Umpires job to regulate the frequency...as he did earlier.
23 second still left on the clock when he won.

I was pulling for Schwarbs but all the crybaby stuff is just telling of the crybabies.

And he’s hitting .214 this year. His tainted home run derby title will be the closest he gets to any kind of postseason glory.

Talk to the umpire in charge of directing pitch frequency.

In the end...23 seconds left on the clock so the outcome wasn't likely going to be different.

Who cares? It's a meaningless event.

Bryce was hitting longer home runs in H.S. than any major league player.

Baseball is meaningless to me. A sport that’s been dying a slow death for a long long time.

I wouldn't go that far. I love baseball. I'd take it over any sport, anytime. This event is just filler to make a few bucks before the All Star game. Which has become sort of meaningless since the winner doesn't determine home field advantage of the World Series anymore.

I mentioned to my wife his pace was a bit questionable according to the rules. But really it's an event about having fun and the rules are new. They didn't make him slow it down and i doubt he even knew that it was a rule. He still had to have the energy to keep swinging the bat at that caliber to hit them out that quick. Really it was fun to watch one after another. Next year they should not have a pace rule and see what happens. Kind of like that basketball arcade game.

I am a very big MLB fan and I never watch the All Star game, even when Bud changed it to determine the WS home field advantage. I have been to exactly one All Star game live in my life and was bored to death, with the exception of how impressed I was when Nomo went all the way down the line of the little leaguer's bowing and shaking their hands. I think he kind of shamed the other players into being a little more respectful of the kids presence and maybe started a trend.

Did I get that wrong? Does the winner determine Home Field. Oh well, wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. :ack:

    Oh boy...
I guess it's possible that the umpire was a paid lackey, but Harper didn't cheat.

Stop it, it's just a bad look.
