I need financial/decision advice. I've wanted one of these since they first came out. I currently own 2 vehicles: a 2007 Jetta and a DR650. Both vehicles are at the point where the resale value is equal to the current loan amounts due.

Should I sell both and buy the Spyder? Or keep both of my current vehicles so I have a car and a bike?

Also I am applying to law schools so I will need a reliable vehicle that can hold books, which the Spyder is capable of.

You have got to own a car for bad weather, there is no way around that!
remeber Passive101 only had a bike and was riding in the rain all the time! Not a mature choice.
Although I'll buy the DR from you if the price is right!:wavey:

I'd love one to run around town on nice days, but wouldn't give up a primary vehicle for it.

Spyder - all of the disadvantages of a motorcycle, none of the advantages.

    Keep what you've got.

Thanks guys. Just got back from a ride. Not sure I could give up the off-road capability of my bike either. It's nice to see a trail and hop on.

Check out the Piaggio MP3 500 oooh la la, cheaper and probably fun as hell.
