I was looking at some pictures of browning gold hunter 12 ga shotguns.
I noticed one has a smooth rounded rear reciever and the other one kinda has a hump back.(kind a like a berette 390 from wal-mart if I remember correctely) It also looks to have a mag cut off on the left side of the reciever toward the mag tube.
Is that the only differences between the two? Is one better than the other? I think both take the invector plus choke tube just like my citory.
    thanks again

Same basic gun. The Browning Gold was replaced with the Silver and now the Maxus. The two guns you are comparing have the same gas system and both take Inv Plus chokes. Personally, I like a mag cut-off on my hunting guns, but it's not a deal breaker either. I also like the semi-humpback receivers.

Browning made a gun called the Fusion that was a good shotgun as well.
