This came from the food truck at work. Two steak tacos and two Mexican sausage. Price wasn't too bad 1.50 each. I don't know about your area but every time I go to a place like chipotle the price magically jumps to $9-10.

First time eating a taco outside of taco bell and I have to say its pretty tasty. Might try the tongue taco next week

Does look good. About the tongue, anyone that has ever tried it says it is one of the best tasting, most flavorful and tender meats you can have. Just can't bring myself to it.

Good looking tacos. Definitely try the lingua, good stuff.

I stopped at a local market yesterday and they had fried chicken livers in the deli. Picked up a half pound, a tasty little snack for the drive home.

Even though the idea of tasting something that may be tasting you is off-putting, tongue is awesome.
It is like the leanest richest pot roast you've evr tasted. Try it and you'll forget about it.

Food truck <> Fast Food. I wish we had the ability to make them viable around here. I think the nearest real long-term food truck is a hotdog guy in Hartford.

Sure, you get Roach Coaches heading to construction sites with their pre-made sammiches. That's not a food truck.

Our food trucks around here are gourmet quality to say the least. As an Executive Chef in a dwtn location, I am not digging them. I'm all for capitalism, but it's not a level field when we are paying huge city property taxes and all the associated costs with owning a building.
These guys roll up and caravan like a bunch of gypsies, paying nothing more than a vending license and really cripple our business.

I don't like tongue tacos, but substitute tongue for pastrami in a reuben and you've got a very tasty low-fat reuben.

I whine about internet sales and unenforcable state sales tax collection.

    Doesn't change a thing.

We both have to learn to offer what the other guy can't offer.

I think some of the best ethnic food around comes from food trucks, also some of the worst. But you have to play to win sometimes you find an awesome truck and sometimes you catchup on your bathroom reading.

There is a GT rule against Taco trucks? :dunno:

If so, then I'm in BIG TROUBLE!

I eat at taco trucks, all the time. Sometimes 3 in a week! :pepper::eat::pepper:

Big deal. I work for the Government, don't own a Glock, and eat fast food a couple of times a week. I'm for Gay marriage (just to shut the fags and their hags up) I don't wear watches, smoke cigars or drink alcohol. I think the Bravia joke is lame and some of the infractions and bannings are heavy handed lazy mod'ding.

Have you ever looked through one of those GT member picture threads that pop up here and there? :whistling:
