I keep hearing everyone saying that they got their Brinkmann Maxfire at Walmart, but I can't find them in any of the stores near me OR online. WTF?

    I smell a conspiracy... :( ;R

Saw a bunch of them at my local Wal-mart and 6 of them at the Wharton Wal-Mart today while visiting the in-laws.

I got mine. Did you look in the camping equipment?

I've looked all over the place. I've even asked some "sales associates" for help... Now that I think about it, this was probably my first mistake.

Found one at my Target for $16.99. Comes with a carrying case also. The WallyMart package doesn't come with the case.

At my local Walmart the Maxfires are kept behind the gun counter.

Well, that may be your opinion, but I have had three of them for months now, and they get heavy use, and I have had no problems at all out of mine. I also know a few other guys who use them day in and day out with no problems. So, while your opinion is that they are garbage, I own a few and know otherwise!

My local Wally World has a TON of Brinkmann Maxfires. I noticed that they all have Sanyo batteries vs. those off-brand Chi-com ones I tossed.
