I'm looking for some .40 180gr GoldDots and I don't know where to look in person, or if anyone even sells them. I don't recall seeing them at Walmart, am I going to have to settle for buying them online and paying a ton in shipping?

And can someone tell me the difference between these?

There has to be something massively different if Bud's Gun Shop has 5x as many for $5 more.

Duh, can tell I'm tired if I missed the fact that they're only the bullets... whoops.

And shipping is usually insane for ammo from the places I've looked, I figured I'd be better off buying in store if possible. I'll have to check Wally World again tomorrow, and maybe ArmyNavy sometime to see if they have any, otherwise I'll just have to pay the shipping.

How about online retailers, I don't know who is reputable and who isn't for ammo. I'm seeing 8-10 dollars for shipping which isn't too bad, and I found a place where I could get 50 for $36 shipped.

I think www.ammoengine.com would be a good place to start.

Gold dots are there one day, and gone the next with many sellers.

I'll google it later for you if you'd like.

Just letting you know there's other options out there beside someone who requires you to show identification like hotpig. That's why I personally try to steer clear of him, and let others know it isn't legally required as well.

I know sgammo.com has some, but is currently out. There prices on SD ammo are pretty competitive.
Yeah I tried AmmoEngine, they listed CTD as having a box of 50 but when I went there it seemed to be a box of 20. I think they were the only ones that were supposed to have 50 at a comparable price. I'll have to keep digging around, I'm not having any luck lately, can't even find the .40 Federal range ammo I usually get from Walmart.

Demand is far exceding supply and looks like that will worsen this year. People that normally buy 50 round boxes will be fighting to buy the 20 round boxes.

This week is a good example. I received a pallet of 9mm HST Monday. Most of it was sold and not shown on my web site. The left overs that I put on the web site sold out in a few hours. Ranger 9mm came in this morning and it is sold without being listed. More 9mm HST will be here this afternoon and it is already sold.

It is starting to look really bad for all of us.

Not good.

I can't even go to the range now because I can't find the boxes of 100, and I refuse to pay $20 more for the same amount.
