Holy crap, a lot of thought went into that article. Here I was thinking it was an entertaining tv show. I wouldn't call the first 2 seasons bad. Apparently it had enough ratings to garner a third and the first episode this season had the honor of being the most watched show from a cable channel tv series. Not too shabby.

That author is an idiot. The first season of The Walking Dead is one of the best pieces of zombie genre of all time. Its on par with full-fledged zombie movies.

The second season sucked because they slashed funding, fired half of their staff, and hired crap freelance writers.

The third season had a pretty awesome season premier, but this last episode sucked just as bad as the second season.

And again, that author is an idiot.

People in danger become conservative - that's just realism. Liberalism is the product of comfort and safety (generally provided by conservatives with guns).

The story follows the comic book which is written by fanciful liberal hipsters. Of course one of the plot devices is for "normal" people to become more pragmatic when faced with life and death choices all the time. Rick no longer has any qualms about killing zombies or people who threaten his group's safety.
