Normally, I don't put much faith in these whiz-bang ideas, but, if they're not having us on, this may hold promise. The science seems to make sense.

I am going to watch this...

All he was waiting for was The One's command to "invent stuff."

What grand leadership!! Why had no one else thought to tell us rubes to "invent stuff" previously? See what it brings?

Anyway, I hope it pans out even if the egos in the White House attempt to claim it as their own.

This guy better watch out, Big oil will make him disappear. Even if this did work, we would never know, this technology will never come to fruition.

Easy conclusion to this. If it actually works, big oil will buy the rights to it and put it in a safe somewhere. (I didn't even read the article.)

This :agree:

The cost claim is really out to lunch. The bulk of our hydrogen comes from . . . you guessed it . . . oil. The only reasonable alternative source would be hydrolysis of seawater.

First build a nuclear power plant on the coast . . .

Don't know where this clown expects to get hydrogen cheap enough to make a $1.50/gal fuel, but unless he's making it out of air, it ain't happening

I see you are one of those boosting my Reynolds stock value . . . please keep it up.:tinfoil:

I'm sure they will put it right along side the car that gets 200 mpg and the perpetual motion machine.

The article has very few details, but from what I can gather it is complete BS.

Did anyone else read that article and come away thinking, they really didn't have much to talk about, so they said the same thing over again, at least three times?

Where's the energy come from?

First rule of physics: "There is no free lunch."

So where does the energy come from?

That's great if it can be produced out of domestic raw materials and doesn't pollute. But the price of gasoline itself isn't much higher than that now. Much of the price we pay is various taxes, distribution costs, etc.

fuel with a stable price regardless of oil prices, the fuel is hydrogen based and produces no carbon emissions when burned.
The Marxists in this country will never let it get here. I'll cause something: global warming, cooling, world peace, puppies shedding. Something. Gas at $1.50 would cause the economy of the US to take off like a rocket. Barry & the buds will have none of that...people could get jobs and not be dependent on government. It won't happen.
