I am considering a Glock 30 in .45acp for my next carry gun. Is it recommended that only "ball" ammo be used for the first 100 rounds or so before switching to hollow point fodder? I am a perfectionist, and 100 percent reliability is very important to me.

Shoot it all! If it FTF early on you can always try it again at a later date. This is the only way to figure out what is 100% reliable.
