No sarcasm, I was just watching a video on YouTube, guy from magpul had a red dot (I think an RMR) on his Glock, every spent casing bounced off the red dot and not the face!

I don't know the likelihood of a Stovepipe or rebound stovepipe, but the magpul guy's glock appeared to run fine. Well, there you have it, invest the money into a quality red dot (RMR) and never get pegged in the face with brass again!

That's an expensive solution. This would be a lot cheaper

How about buying a NON-LCI extractor and the spring loaded bearing! Fixed.

I fixed mine by filing off about 1mm from the tip of the ejectors on my 19 and 26 at an angle. Can't really describe without pics but there's an instructional website out there.

I did that! Works pretty well so far.

    -----------------

But before I just used some old beer helmet I found in my attic........kept brass off my face and PBR in my tummy....all of this while shooting a firearm on a proper range with a proper backstop, of course. My house seems like a good shield to protect the neighbors in case I miss the propane grill I was shooting at, that thing just couldn't cook a burger for the life of me. My yard is plenty big, and the school is next-door to the right...umm a little or enough I guess...of where I was shooting, so everything should be okay. Unless my neighbors other cat decides to try to eat the old meat I left on the grill....again.

    Notice I said "other.......cat......" :whistling:
