So I went to pick up my Glock 19 Gen4. I cleaned and lubed her and took her straight to the shooting range. Put 150 rounds through her without a glitch. (Remington 124gr, Federal 115gr and WWB 115gr) No jams or malfunctions at all. It fits my hand like a glove. I guess I will get rid of all my Glock Gen3 and replace it with Gen4. The only issue that I have been experiencing with this gun is the casings hit my face three times...I am hoping the issue will be resolved during the break in period. Here are a few pictures I took. Did I forget to say that I am very happy with the Glock 19 Gen 4 :tongueout:

Any chance you have one of the old style 9mm extractors? I assume you've read the other threads on the new style. We know that they differ insofar as their ability to be removed. I wonder whether this new extractor could be responsible for the weak ejections you've had and, in other guns, the FTE's. It would be interesting to swap extractors and see whether the "issue" follows the new extractor.

If you want to test the idea, but don't have one of the old style extractors, I can loan you one.

I haven't read anything about the new or old style 9mm extractors. Can you link me to that thread? thanks
