Can you still find a 1000 round of 9mm for around $200?

Around here you're looking at $320 or so. It's hard to believe I just bought 2,000 Independence at $8.99 a box right before Dec. This panic is crazy!

If you do, buy all you can afford immediately before you spread the word. If you don't, it will disappear within about 5 minutes...GUARANTEED!!

That's true, but it's also why we're in this mess. If people would stop panic-buying truckloads maybe there would be enough to go around. Recreational shooters like myself who might go thru one or two thousand rounds a year are afraid to go shooting because we dont know when/if we'll be able to replace our stock.

That's true, my friend. I'm in the same boat. I'm setting on 1500 rounds that I need for IDPA matches and can't really practice much at all. Luckily, I got an order in for two cases of reman rounds from a supplier 3 weeks before they suspended taking any further sales altogether. Have no idea when it will get here.

You might be be able to buy just the projectiles for that price, if you can find them

There is tons of it on the online auction sites. I've been tracking ammo on some of the online auction sites for sometime now. 9mm is going for about $0.50 - $0.60 per round currently. Saw a 1,000 round box of ball ammo go for $546.00 + shipping couple of days ago on Gunbroker. Unbelieveably that is down from $800-$900.

I was at local Wallymart the other day and they had about 10 boxes of Winchester white box 9mm in a cart getting ready to stock a shelf. Some guy walked over and picked all 10 boxes out of the cart before I could get to it.

Nope. If you could buy a case it would work out to $300 here.

However, none of my local stores are selling cases. Just loose boxes with a per day limit per caliber, per customer.

Glad I got my stash before this. Maybe in late summer I will see cases for sale again local. :dunno:
