F042E3E5-E2F5-4122-8F2D-AE282FEFA379.jpeg to go with the one I bought last Friday. That’s how much I love this pistol. I got their last one too and folks know how tough they are to come by

15rd mags are a great option for the P30L.

BTW, I really like the competition weight. I'm not toofamiliar with those.

Makes the gun look even cooler than it already does, and I would guess it helps a good bit with recoil/muzzle flip?

Very nice! I have a P30 SK and would enjoy a full size version. Great pistols.

Ok...I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I only became aware of the weight because of the John Wick movie. I just got the weight mid week so I haven't shot it with it yet. I will tomorrow. I have a Steel Shoot match.

    Congrats!

You didn't mention caliber, so can we assume they're both 9mm models? Either way they're good guns, that IMHO put Glock to shame, especially in the ergo department.

A couple years back I picked up a very lightly used P30, but chambered in the once heralded now dreaded 40S&W, and I quickly went off on a search for a 357sig conversion barrel...where I landed at Rim Country Manufacturing. I got one, and it's really sweet...it's top notch, very well made and finished, and of course it's accurate. It's given my P30 a whole new attitude ;)

So maybe the next P30L you come across (chuckle), if it's in 40S&W, you can consider the fact that there's an easy caliber change option available should you ever become interested. Now go get interested! :D

You're causing trouble. :) You're right too, I didn't mention caliber. Yes, 9mm. I said you're causing trouble because .357 Sig is a round that I really have a lot of interest in. Even though I don't own a pistol that shoots it, I still pick up the brass at the range for the day that I do. I've thought about putting a .357 barrel in my Glock G27.

Ah, thank you for the clarification, and the humor ;)

Now...oh for shame...no 357sig?! If you do go the conversion route with your G27 I suggest using Pearce +0 mag bases...they add just enough to the grip without affecting concealment. I've got them on my Gen3 G33 mags and they work great!

As you know, the market is saturated with 40S&W LE trade ins, so there are many affordable opportunities out there for you to dip your toe in the 357sig waters at your convenience via simple conversion barrel...i.e., Glock (G22, etc.), S&W (M&P, etc.) SIG (P-series), HK, etc. Have fun!
