I went to check out the 45c. I thought for sure it was going to coke home with me. That just wasn't to be. I had to check the P30. Well the P30 won out. I think I am going to sell my Glock now.

Congrats. I'm diggin' my P30. My only real complaint with it so far is that stupid huge slide lock lever. My support thumb is right on it and it's distracting even though it doesn't seem to cause any malfunction. I'll have to learn to modify my grip. For all the kudos people give the P30 on ergos that lever is a huge strike IMO.

I love the mag release. It's so much more natural for me than a side button.

Working through holster selection now. Can't find a light bearing holster for it at all

Very nice, congrats on the pistol. I would hold onto the G19 as long as its been reliable for you. I don't think you can have too many hard use pistols.

Not to hijack the thread, but you should check out Raven Concealment Holsters. They make a nice holster for the P30 with a light. The wait time is a little salty though.

I have the exact same HK, great gun. The slide release cowboy many put the shorter one on i believe like the P2000 and i have yet to see this fix the issue, Congrat's on the P30s OP...

The shorter slide lock lever won't help in my case. My support thumb is touching where the pivot point is. Not a huge deal and I'll either get used to it or adjust my grip accordingly. I probably should just use my revolver style grip on my autos anyway and always keep my thumbs off the gun.

they come with three backstraps, three right side grip panels, and three left side grip panels. they can be configured to fit any hand.

It just fit my hand so well I couldn't help myself. I will definitely get a 45c in the future. Just not right now. Unless I sell my Glock and maybe a kidney.:embarassed:
