I interpreted your comment the same way as the others. Maybe it just came out wrong.

Liberals have been associating everything they can with Russia or the nazi’s so it felt like you were doing the same as the liberals.

I “liked” tomcats replies because I think they were appropriate!

Having spent 18 mos in a Real martial Law Police state it makes me laugh when anyone compares America to one. I worked in a murda city and at the end of my career 1/2 the watch would be touching up their nails at roll call.

    Bah! <ignore> <poof>

Both my parents are from Eastern Europe, survived ww2, and escaped communism.

Any American that thinks socialism or communism is a good thing should travel to former communist countries to see the results of what that system left behind. Speak with the elders and hear/listen to their life stories!

Now the fun starts - some confusion among liberals will emerge as follows.

    I am a progressive/activist/liberal/free spirit.
    1. there should be open borders.
    2. if we have to have restrictions on immigration, eliminate health questions.
    3. if we have to have restrictions on immigration, let the people stay here, unmonitored until their administrative court time comes in a few years.

Oh, my gosh! We have an epidemic coming!
    1. It is Donald Trump's fault alone because he promised a wall.
    2. I am unprotected because Donald Trump allowed people to stay in the USA when they clearly came here illegally.
    3. It is Donald Trump's fault because he should have sent policemen to arrest illegal immigrants.

For those fellow citizens who haven't quite figured out governments:
    1. no politician is a king sitting on a throne with a bag of his own money to throw at problems.
    2. political decisions have consequences, both good and bad. when you want a certain tax policy, a certain spending policy, a change in priorities, you are going to have consequences that are negative and not cost free - and not just cost free and positive consequences.

Their parent's should have thought of that before they broke the law. U.S. Citizens (Parent's) break the law all the time. Drug families, Human Trafficking in which the Woman. AKA Mother, enticed young Children into prostitution where the Male, Father, pimps them out. What happens "To the Children" they go in the system, don't they? We should feel more sorry for the illegal's?

How many children of American citizens are in prison, separated from their children?
How many American citizens are separated from loved ones permanently, parents or children, because they died at the hands of an illegal alien?

ICE lodges a Warrant for Arrest of Alien or Warrant of Deportation/Removal along with every detainer (for a few years now). These warrants are issued by the agency, and not by a “judge,” for this is the scheme as Congress created it; there is not a court in the land empowered to issue an arrest warrant solely for an alien being illegally present in the US. As you can imagine, the courts would be crippled if the government had to secure a judicial arrest warrant for every alien it sought to remove. Despite what the ACLU would like to tell you, aliens are entitled only to the due process which Congress affords them when confronted with the possibility of removal. They love to conflate the removal context with the criminal context.

Some of the agencies releasing the aliens claim that such a system is a perversion of the 4th Amendment and require a “judicial” warrant to hold the alien (which, of course, does not exist — and they know this very well). Still, other agencies will not hold for ICE even in the case of an illegal alien charged with illegal entry after removal (a felony criminal offense for which a “judicial arrest warrant” can be obtained), citing the “anti-commandeering” doctrine of the 10th Amendment (which, to my knowledge, has never been tested by SCOTUS in the immigration context).
