I have not bought liquor in a long time, but we have relatives coming in for the weekend and I went to Sams club to buy some beer, wine and liquor and had sticker shock on the price of liquor!! The last time I bought a 1.75 liter of Smirnoff it was around $19.99...today it was $25.95 and the Anejo 1800 was over $40.00 for a fifth!

So have our legislators been sticking it to us again and slamming booze with more taxes?

I guess I am out of the know on booze prices but I did not think it was that long ago that I had bought some for a party we had.
