Drug-crazed individual/s on a bolo rampage that could have resulted in far less casualties had the responding law enforcement officers carried firearms instead of pepper spray as mandated by the new gun ban law. Statements by various groups in the Philippines regarding firearms. Laws / decrees / bills by the Philippine government that involve firearms. Objectives: To correct misconceptions about firearms and armed individuals or groups. To provide a balanced view regarding the role of firearms in maintaining peace and order. To acknowledge both the advantages and limitations of firearms in society. Guidelines: To issue ONE response / comment for each target. - only one collective response / comment for fast reference / publication - include references / links Vision: To have an ARCHIVE of incidents / issues / reports involving firearms or the lack thereof in the Philippines AND accompany such record with a well thought of, debated, and complete commentary.
