Local gunshop is a blue label Glock dealer. They said a glock19x is $700 blue label. A Glock 17 blue label is marked $533.. Who's gouging?

Hold moly, talk about a gouge, you can find cheaper retail prices at big box stores.

Ouch. I remember in 1999 I paid $300 for my G21 with night sights.

Definitely some greed there...or false advertising...as I thought Glock sets the price for the Blue Label program.

Just purchased from Primary Arms in Houston...Blue Label
Glock 43x with Ameriglo Bold Sights - $431
    Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS AMERIGLO BOLD 17RD - $556

And they are listing the Blue Label Glock 19x for $533 with Night Sights...

I thought you had to be a Texas resident to get the blue label from them? Contact Glock Blue Label Program directly. They will send you an order form with a price list.

Not sure, maybe that is a Primary Arms requirement...I am a TX resident.

However, if you go to www.gtdist.com (they are located in Austin, TX) you can use the blue label program but there is a state limit...Their site says: Currently live in one of the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas

Assuming that has to do with other state laws...but I do not know the reason. I am told the program is available to any veteran with a DD214...plus the other LE, first responder categories...

You can definitely go direct to Glock...I chose to go with the Primary Arms mainly due to the quick ship upon me verifying my vet status.

Yeah.... I’m pretty sure they can’t do that.

Speaking of taking advantage of customers, places that normally sell brass for reloading are often charging 2-3X normal prices. Very disappointing, scalping (and please spare me the onslaught of ("it's a free market" etc). Gun manufacturers and gunshops in the past have not gone the way of "charge whatever the market will bear", sorry to see it happening now Don

That must be Black & Blue Label pricing, because someone will be taking a beating at those prices.

Just to add, I was there at GT's Austin store a couple of days ago, and what they have listed on their site and what they have in their display cases are two different things. If you want stock information, I'd call them directly instead of relying on their site. Also, they had a TON of Glocks in stock.

I do not know where in the Commonwealth you reside but a drive to Florence may be worth your time. I bought a blue label 34 two weeks back for less than $600.00.

I was at GT Dist in Dallas last week. Their basic blue label Gen 5 guns, 17, 19, 26, 45 with standard sights were $398. Don’t remember exact price but the 43, 43x, 48 were about $50 less. All in stock.

This is about what the dealer local to me is charging for those models. I cannot remember how much factory night sights raise the price.

They are $480 plus tax unless you get a Gen 5 which is MOS.
    Do you buy tax free?

Should be no more than $65 for the OEM Glock Sights.
