Blue Label Glock 17L at my local shop. Should I snag it?

My local shop is a Blue Label dealer. They just got an Sxx prefix G17L in.

All my Glocks (19C, 35 and 21 Gen 4) have been RMR'ed, and have suppressor sights for the BUIS.

I'm thinking I need a pistol with just iron sights, so I can still be proficient with irons.

This G17L seems really nice.....and 9mm is cheap.

    Should I buy it?

I am not certain that there is a "blue label" price for the 17L but if it is reasonable I would.

I've never heard of one either but I'd snag one. They're great guns.

Interesting. It was in the Blue Label Case. They wanted $605 out the door, tax and all. :dunno:

ETA: The Blue Label Dealer on the other side of town has *supposed* Blue Label G17Ls as well. Something new from Glock?

ETA #2: I wonder if its possible they're keeping the G17L in the Blue Label case to give .MIL first dibs on it? I don't see why the other LE dealer across town would have a .MIL/LE only "blue label" G17L as well, if it weren't legit. Who knows.....

A quick glance at Gunbroker suggests that $605 is a good price.

Was this a blue label G17L? I only ask because I contacted the gun shop that sells blue label Glocks about getting a 17L last year and they said "NO" on the blue label G24 and 17L (long slides).

I searched & came up empty when it comes to a 17L blue label. Had to settle for a G34.

No, it's not a blue label gun. There's no 17L or 24 on my order form either---if there was I'd have the 24 by now for sure

I don't know about it being Blue Label, but the 17L is a pleasure to shoot.

    But I got my new G3 17L from goingquiet.com for $600

Right after the 17, the 17L is the gun to have. It is amazing what just a little extra sight radius (~1.5") can do in the way of accuracy.
