Found this book in the bargain rack for $2.
It is the story of Japanese Kamikaze pilots in WW2, told from the perspective of the Japanese survivors of that era. Yes, I know its hard to believe there were any survivors, but a few did make it due to flukes, miscues etc.
Its truly amazing to me how unrepentant the characters in this book are. They don't seem angry at all about their govt and its leaders leading them down the path of destruction.
And they sure don't give Americans much credit for the rebuilding of their country after the war.
Its also pretty obvious the use of the Atomic bomb actually saved the lives of millions of not only Americans, but Japanese citizens.
