only reason i bothered bringing up is this particular account already had one dust up elsewhere where they were throwing absurd/clueless accusations fairly effortlessly...

yea I had to straighten out some of your cohorts on here but seems like you think you are the hall monitor or something I see. Well, good luck to you....

Love when you guys try to bully someone that doesn't agree with all of your thinking on these websites. Makes for some fun exchanges.

DU is Democratic Underground. It's a leftist political forum. You should take a look sometime if you want some comic relief. Those pinheads are really out there. Anyway, I was replying to your post that seemed to be asking for an explanation why another poster mentioned that we get a lot of new members during election years. I wasn't implying that you are liberal.

OK thanks and I will check that out. I am always looking for comic relief. And I'm pretty sure I'm not a liberal. Thanks for the information.

The Sandernistas are going to loose their **** if Bloomberg gets it by buying it. It will make Chicago 68 look like a Bible study.

Every time I see a Micro Mike Bloomberg ad, I'm reminded that our country and it's government at always for sale to the highest bidder.

Bloomberg is a twit that will be outed - hopefully in the near future. Maybe in the Nevada debate.

Bernie the Red is 78yo - IIRC. This is his last rodeo. If the DNC decides to steal the nomination from him I predict he'll run as a third party candidate. He's a feisty old coot. He turned the other cheek four years ago - I don't think he'll do that again. Heck, he's not a democRAT anyway. He's a socialist.

I can't imagine anything more fun than watching the Dims struggle with Midget Mike as their candidate and Bernie the Red as a spoiler.

If he loses, he'll only be hated by the Left, and that would only make him the Second most hated man in America by those same idjts.

Well, FYI, for many of us here that have been posting on GT, and especially GTPI, it becomes blatantly obvious when a new individual shows up and starts bashing and lecturing those of us that have been here for a while, without taking the time to get to "know" each other. Political banter is why we come here, but making blanketed anti-American posts, gets the short hairs up on the neck of most of us. (I also am NOT placing you in this category!)

We don't always agree, but the rank and file have the common courtesy to get to know where most of us stand on issues before going on the offense. I consider myself a relative newbie, even though I've been here since 2012 and try to always show some respect towards those that have come before me. .................. actually everyone! '

I read your first quote above and knew that Rock, meant no ill will towards you personally, and actually was giving you the benefit of the doubt by letting you know the "skinny" on this forum. Most of us are thoroughly disgusted with the political actions of those on the left trying to take our country towards socialism/communism, whose main objective is to remove our guns. We think like Sam Adams.

We get inundated by trolls, who hate America, the Constitution, the bill of rights, us and especially the 2A, knowing we are zealots when it comes to the "Right to Bear Arms!" Some of these folks have no desire to be a part of the gang and only wish to be jerks!

They say some of the most outlandish things, attempt to hijack threads via making it about "them"(changing the topic) and contribute nothing to the forum, (like I'm feeling compelled to do in this post).

You just signed up less than two weeks ago and might consider easing up and being a little less defensive. I for one, would like to see a requirement of 2-300 posts in the other gun related forums before being allowed to post in GTPI, which can be very divisive. There are many, many members here who have a 180 degree, political stance, but still are gun folks, which is the real reason for a gun forum.

Please accept my .02 and.......................... welcome to our world. :D

Well, I won't say anything anti American on here. I am a veteran, a patriot and a supporter of the second amendment as well as the rest of the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. But I may not totally agree with all the 2A "zealots" and that's OK because the first amendment says it is, and I have not "bashed or lectured" anyone on here.

So, when people don't like my specific views on things and come off as bullies, then I don't intend to take their BS, I don't really care how long they have been here. I've probably been "here" a lot longer than most of the people on this forum and have life experience that qualifies me to express my opinions.

I do participate in gun forums as well, and enjoy those, but I think I will continue to participate in other forums too. If you don't like my position in some of those discussion, feel free to discuss with me and I'll try to explain why I think the way I do.

    Thanks

Well, Fox reported this morning that Bernie has said that if he loses the nomination, he will support the Dem candidate.

Guess that means Bernie is rolling over again. No third party run. He's old, and he got what he wanted.

So it's done. Bloomberg is going to be the nominee. Bernie was just in it for the money and the soapbox. His supporters will fall in line behind Bloomberg. Really, when you live in your mom's basement, and think socialism is the way to go, what's the difference between millionaire Bernie and billionaire Mike?

It will come down to Trump and Bloomberg. Milke will say he can do everything Trump did, is richer than Trump, and will ban guns too.

So that's what it will be come November: Do you want a great (demonstrated) economy, conservative Justices, a 1st and 2nd Amendment (Trump) or do you want a kinder, gentler economy, which benefits the whole world, social justice, climate change driving all policy, liberal Justices, guns banned and conservatives silenced (Bloomberg)?

It's going to be a close call in November. I hope Trump can pull it off. Because if he cannot, the country is finished.

Yep, just wait until mini-Mike gives each of his opponents $50 million to drop out and support him. "best" government you can buy. I am getting sick and tired every time I turn on the television seeing another paean to Mike Get It Done!!!!!!!

He polled above 10% in four polls, that was the level he needed to get in.
Yes, he bought his way in, but his tactic is working well so far.

Probably the guy to watch. Biden's done, Comrade Sanders has a ceiling, and the rest of the pack can't leap ahead.
