I have been moved to the ABC plan for firearms purchases but tomorrow is my birthday!

So far the contenders are:

Mossberg Shockwave
CZ 455 Ultra Lux
CZ 455 Training Rifle
Ruger PC9

I will likely shoot one of the .22's more, the PC9 would be a very neat host for a suppressor, and I don't even know why I want the Shockwave.

Choosing is hard, give me feedback!

Happy birthday. I vote against the shockwave. I've always liked cz 22 rifles, but never got around to getting one. That ruger does look interesting as well though.

Happy birthday! I have no practical use for the pc9, but held one at my lgs and have to admit i really liked it. I dont think you would be disappointed in it whatsoever. My buddy has a CZ .22 and it is a tack driver.

Without knowing what all you have now, so I can see what gap needs to be filled, it’s tough for me to say..... But, given those choices, I’d go Shockwave.

I'm a collector so I do have "several" .22's bot no bolt actions. I also have "several" shotguns. I don't have any pistol caliber carbines.

My opinion of those choices

First PC9- everyone should have a 9mm carbine. They are extremely fun and useful. You mentioned a suppressor and this would be a great host.

Second 455 Ultra Lux- great rimfire and might as well go fancy for your birthday.

Third 455 trainer- see above

Fourth Shockwave- they are pretty silly

I do shoot my 18" shotguns the least. I'm trying to justify the Shockwave by telling myself I could shoot field mice with it as I mow the lawn.

All I must say is the shockwave with federal tactical 00 is :jumprope::jumprope::jumprope::jumprope::jumprope: soooo fun!
