Says so hisself.
It's more disturbing he thinks the planet needs to have zero CO2.
Goes to show, all the money in the world can't buy common sense or a good haircut.
Fixed that for ya
He can start with himself.
Anyone convinced the world isn't overpopulated has their head buried in the sand.
Just keep breeding folks, go forth and multiply
Not exactly what he said. I'm sure "reproductive health services" is a euphemism for abortions and contraceptives. Gates is a smart guy but he's not very well educated. He dropped out of Harvard and is self taught on computers. I think Paul Allen was the one with the business acumen.
Gates is a typical limousine liberal lecturing about making sacrifices and then jetting home to his 40,000 sq. ft. Seattle mansion.
Did you get a vascectomy?
and yet how many sheep flocked to the nearest clinic to get the swine flu shot because they believed the corporate media driven propaganda. This country forgot how to make an informed decision, they'd much rather let profit driven industries to make it for them..apathy and ignorance go hand in hand with the sheeple of our country.
Sounds like Tom Clancy's book Rainbow Six
+1 When he talks about overpopulation he is talking about all the people he employees in India, all the Chinese, and all the poor blacks, Hispanics, and redneck white people in America.
He was not referring to his family or any of his rich friends.
Just like Al Gore. Do as I say, not as I do, you peasant.
In fact, we could take the entire world population and move everyone to the state of Texas, and the population density there would still be less than that of New York City.
I think the mexicans are already trying to test out that theory. Do not want.
We'll scour the rest of the planets later.
"new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services" to lower the population?
Contraception yes. How does he see vaccines and health care reducing the population? About the only thing I can think he might mean is that people (over)breed out of fear of losing their children. I never really thought that was a huge factor, but I've not looked into it myself.
I know of one for sure
but it was free, I couldn't say no
Does anyone think the "true believers" of over population would drink the Kool-aid to help "save the planet" if it were offered to them?
The ritual clapping his nads between a couple of bricks most likely
You're right, he's probably an idiot. He should probably consult you on that whole business thing
Ask anybody who has worked with him, the man is frighteningly brilliant, a prolific reader, and a brain to be reckoned with.
So why does he sound like an idiot so much when talking about things he knows nothing about? And by the way, I said he's smart there's no doubt about that. There's a difference between intelligence and education, you can be brilliant and uneducated. And on the contrary I've known some very well educated idiots.
