Well today I put down a deposit on a spanking-new 07.5 Tuono. I was looking at a well used one at the local bike shop, and a salesman offered me an unbelievable deal on the new one I simply could not refuse. Slept on it last night and pulled the trigger today. Pick it up next week. Just like the one in this photo.

Aside from the blue lip on the rims, that is a thing of beauty.

The whole wheel is blue on the Tuono R, no matter what color the bike is. Would probably look best on the blue/white bike but only the black was on sale, $4099 below MSRP

According to the salesman, Aprilia offered the black to all dealers at a cut-rate price several months ago to get some exposure. Or maybe Aprilia just couldn't move the black. Works for me!

Aprilia's naked bikes are indeed sexy. Are they more comfortable than the Ducs? The Tuono 1000R is a very sexy bike. I love cruisers, but I have an itch for a standard bike along the lines of the Tuono, the Speed Triple, or a Monster 1100S.

edit - the MV Agusta Brutale 910S is also a great looking bike.
