Well I did my 30 miles today, was motovate to clean the old road bike. So I put it on the stand, spent the best part of 2 hours plus clean, lubeing, and making it look the best I could.

I try to do this ever 1,000 miles, it was time to do it today. Not a bad investment of time, enters, and a little elbo grease.

Read to ride it next week. Should have 5,000 miles this year. image.jpeg image.jpeg

I have an old double-suspended mountain bike. Rear shocks aren't neccesary for ordinary riding, I found out. It actually makes it harder to ride, but since I ride for exercise anyway, I don't mind so much. But, unless I become a downhill racer, I'll never buy another bike with a rear shock absorber.
