Bicycle trip across America, youtube, lovecycles

  1. If you want a sappy dorky beautiful 38 episode youtube series about a guy and gal bicycling across America, this is your place.

I've watch all the episodes, and highly recommend it as great viewing. Funny, stupid, a bit granola, but overall gives an up close picture of Americana, one pedal at a time.

Take it or leave it. It is a good escape from your regular tv shows :)

  2. I have a cousin and his wife have been doing those trips for years. It sounds interesting but isn't for me.

  3. A lot of things are great, if you're 30 years younger.

  4. I’ll check it out for sure. I always dream of biking across the Country, and doing a thru hike of the Appalachian Trail, but then I wake up.

  5. The Duzer videos (lovecycles in my OP link above) has some good footage of the various areas in the northern route he took across the country.

He takes a drone with him, and once in a while you get to see the overhead shots. He even pedals while flying the drone.

They talk to a lot of people along the way, too.

  6. When they got out around the Utah area, did they just stop in the middle of the road, and say, "I'm tired. I think I will go home"., and then turn around and do so? Kinda like Forrest Gump did.

  7. Looks like great footage but I am not into their personalities, too granola for me. Same problem with Venture4WD, he has some great footage but just too geeky.

Not sure how that is decided in the brain. One of my favorite channels is Andrew Camarata but I am not into his friend Jesse's site which is almost exactly the same.

  8. ^^^ Right there with ya! I'm old and too out of shape to ever consider it now, but 20 years ago I'd have been all in if I had the time to spare. Now that I have more time and resources, I lack the fitness.
