The Cal gun poster said that the feed ramp and frame at the feed ramp area were gouged.

How the heck can that happen?

I can't figure out how any of that damage happened. It's ridiculous.

Man... This ****** keeps adding more and more lies and rhetoric to the auction....!

I enjoy a good laugh at the horribly bubba gunsmiffed pistols (like the custom hole drilled TRP), but this is outright fraud. No way that gun even functions reliably, if at all.

    WOW, what a crazy auction.

The way he talked about "pops" in the link was very suspicious and would have raised a red flag for me.

The gun sold so I guess we'll just have to wait for the "I just got screwed on Gunbroker" or "Does this wear look normal to you?" thread to pop up somewhere on the net.

There were red flags galore. I hate to say it, but whoever actually bought that POS almost deserves to get screwed. Almost...

I can't believe someone spent over $1500 on it.

I highly doubt anyone did. I would imagine it will pop back up on there at a later date, with the same damn pictures.

    That is my bet.

If you believe part of his story he obviously had another address to be a dummy buyer from.

You have to ask yourself which is more likely, a person, irrational enough to try what the seller was trying, finding someone irrational enough to buy it and have the money,

    or,

would a person irrational as the seller fake a buy to try and save the ego he displayed ?

You are betting on a miracle over human (ill) nature.

Hopefully folks are paying attention. You have prevented me from making a few mistakes and I am most appreciative. Thank you Brian.

I've bought a bunch of random stuff on GB, but never a gun because I really worry about people being like this fella.

We'll have to check back in a week or two to see the feedback given by the buyer.

Well, at least 95% of the sellers on GB are very legit. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I never had a bad transaction and I've bought over 30 guns from the site.

Without GB, I wouldn't have found much of the stuff I own today.
