I went over to a local indoor range today and tried some more .45 Super rounds with my new 21SF frame, can you say NO MORE MAG DUMPING with the standard mag release on the new frame. It shot great! Cycled just fine.
That's going to be a real bad boy round this Fall!
I only shot about 4, I was having a hard time finding my brass and that stuff is getting hard to come by. The rest were .45 ACP practice rounds.
I've given up trying to get my LWD barrel to feed without hanging up while shooting my homecast 230gr. Truncated cone slugs from my LEE mold.
I will only shoot jacketed or plated bullets in this LWD barrel from now on. I will use the factory barrel and spring for the regular .45 rounds that are my cast, sized and lubed slugs.
I can't wait to see how my new 6" barrel in .45 from LWD will do with these .45 Super rounds. I'll be getting that in later this next week.

For all of you who have been wanting to shoot .45 Supers in your 21s, come on in, the shootin's great!!!
